Now in his 80's, Suffolk-based Robin Welch is still enjoying his lifetime career as one of the UK's most successful and influential ceramic artists.
From the age of 15, he was a student at the Penzance School of Art. His work has since been chosen for presentation to Prince Charles. Robin has gone from strength to strength from such an early age, influencing the British Arts and Crafts Scene.
The seven ceramic wall hangings form a completely unique collection of Robin's work which has more usually been in the individual, rather than the collective form.
The idea for the hangings was a direct suggestion from Primavera's owner Jeremy Waller on Robin's return from a visit to Australia.
Six of the pieces are at Haddenham and the seventh is on display at our King's Parade gallery.
