Nicholas Juett was born in 1963 in Cambridge, England. He studied art and design at the university of Cambridge and later studied in the states in Chicago before returning back to the UK to study Sculpture in Cambridge.
Nicholas is primarily a painter and creates beautifully vivid landscapes often of Cambridge scenes. The titles for the work are often the postcode that depict that particular street he’s painted. His loose application of paint and bold choice of colours give a certain energy to his work.
Nicholas has had numerous solo shows and group exhibitions including Gallery 96, Cambridge, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, National Westminster Bank (So-Ho), New York and Ace Gallery, Los Angeles.
