Debbie Moxon

We have 27 pieces of Debbie's work available in the gallery.

Debbie Moxon trained at Sheffield achieving a BA (Hons) 3D Design (Silversmithing and Jewellery) in 1981 and became established in 1982. She is now based in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. Each piece is unique and made by hand from design to finish so production is limited, meaning each piece will be completely unique.

Most well known for her coloured titanium jewellery, Debbie has developed her techniques for heat colouring over the past 25 years, leading to the distinctive designs you see today. This is the result of experimenting in the interaction and texturing of the titanium. Debbie has recently been awarded funding in order to continue researching and developing this heating process.

Due to the chance reactions of the metal the colouring process can be challenging but with her husband Ian's precise skills and knowledge of cutting, together they are able to achieve a highly finished quality product. The interaction of their own technical knowledge and skill leads to a partnership which creates stunning pieces of wearable jewellery.

Although well known for her titanium jewellery, precious metals and stones, including opals, are used in additional ranges and one off pieces.
