Luxury silk scarves to cherish...

Claire Armitage designs beautiful silk scarves and accessories which are inspired by her own sketchbook drawings and illustrations. These drawings are inspired by the bountiful gardens, landscape and coastline which surround her studio in Trewidden Gardens, Cornwall. Her designs blend floral, nautical and avian imagery, with hints of narrative incidents and folklore coming through.

Claire holds a BA in Textiles from Goldsmiths and an MA in Textile Design. She worked as a costume designer for almost a decade and lectured at Falmouth University. In 2013, Claire was awarded the British Craft Trade Fair award for Excellence. 

Each of Claire's pieces are digitally printed and hand finished in Britain.
