Christine Povey

Cornwall based jeweller, Christine Povey, has, over many years, developed a well-deserved reputation for her natural and organic styled jewellery.

Christine cuts, shapes and drills semi-precious stones and local beach pebbles for beads. The decoration in these beads is then hammered in using hands tools which Christine makes herself. This makes each piece very individual.

Christine also likes to leave an unpolished finish, with hammer marks as surface decoration. She also uses 18ct gold to make hollow beads and earrings and to decorate bangles.
