Caroline Ponsonby
Caroline Ponsonby was born in 1953 and is based in Cambridgeshire. She took up oil painting in 1990 after previously working at the BBC. Caroline studied at the Homerton Art Group, Homerton College,University of Cambridge.
Caroline is inspired by drama, and the light of people in landscapes. Much of her inspirations come from the East Anglia Coast, this is clearly evident in her work. Caroline paints tranquil scenes by the sea but often with dramatic lighting which gives her work a sense of energy and life. She has had many exhibitions, including; Royal society of British Artists, The Mall Galleries in London, Whittlesford Gallery, Albemarle Gallery, London and many more
