Becky Convey

Becky has been making jewellery for over 15 years. Her work has been exhibited in the ‘NumberNinetyFour’ International show, London 2012 and is sold through several galleries in the East Anglian region including “Primavera” in Cambridge.

She combines different coloured precious and semi-precious gemstones with pearls and silver beads. The gemstones come from all over the world. Sometimes she chooses to travel and source them herself, otherwise she buys from reputable collectors and dealers.

Becky’s distinctive style is achieved using techniques of reticulation, etching, oxidation and gold leafing. The blending of colour, texture and shape within each piece, be it a necklace or earrings, results in jewellery that is tactile and enduringly beautiful.

Most of her pieces are one-offs, though some are repeatable.
