Acrylic on canvas with some iridescent paint by Josh Hollingshead. 2008.
Dimensions: 60 inches x 48 inches (1.52m x 1.22m).
'The only painting I’ve done of a dream, the meaning is not known to me. A man stands on a leaning tree which sprawls across a hill teeming with flowers. Clad in clothes similar to the striped attire of chain gangs he watches the moon rise over a river. The design of the painting is all diagonal, red and yellow flowers span in unnaturally straight lines from one corner of the painting to another. Atop the hill a woman is pulled along by a homemade kite, with the colours of a flame', Josh Hollingshead.
